Corporate watchdog, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has forced Sydney- based online computer parts and accessories retailer, Esel Pty Ltd trading as MWave.com.au, to change its warranty, refund and shipping policies.
And it has been forced to invite anyone who bought anything from Mwave after 1 July 2007 to make warranty claims.

Online department store operator, Deals Direct, has agreed to change its ways following large numbers of customer complaints to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
The complaints included bogus savings claims, and inaccurate or misleading product descriptions on the Deals Direct web-site.
