ANZ blames Telstra, apologizes for system crash hitting ecommerce businesses

Telstra has been blamed for an outage at the ANZ bank yesterday that left ecommerce businesses unable to process online payments through Securepay’s payments gateway.
A spokeswoman for the ANZ confirmed the system outage in response to an eCommerce Report enquiry.
She said that ANZ was one of a number of Telstra customers affected by a communications issue.
