Web hosting

Running an online business usually means running a web-site.

You can do that via free services available at ISP's.

But many online businesses have their web-sites 'hosted' either at a specialist commercial service provider, or at a location recommended or arranged by their web-site developer.

The web-sites of larger businesses usually live on their own web-server in-house, but for most of the rest of us web-hosting is the way to go.

There are any number of web hosting providers in the Australasian marketplace.

We currently use an inexpensive service from a Melbourne based business White Dog Green Frog and have previously used a service from Ozhosting (now known as BlueFreeeway).

We also enjoyed fine service from another smaller local provider - Genesis - for many years.

Details of more Australian web-hosting providers including contact details, can be found in the relevant section of our Australian eCommerce Directory.
